Financial Assistance
The Rancho Cordova Athletic Association and Rancho Cordova Track Club believe that family economic circumstances should never be a barrier to participation in youth sports. Most leagues offer fee waiver programs, so do not be shy about asking about financial assistance. How To Qualify For Assistance
To determine your eligibility please check the rules below. If you qualify then fill in the "RCAA Financial Assistance Application" above. If you feel more comfortable with a paper application one can be found on the Downloads and Forms page. After completing the RCAA Financial Assistance Application please send the documents via email to Jen@RCTrack.org. Your request will be reviewed and we will respond with the percentage of assistance that is available for you.
Fee Assistance Program Policies and Rules
The Rancho Cordova Athletic Association Fee Assistance Program, funded by the City of Rancho Cordova Community Enhancement Fund, has been established to meet an RCAA goal of “All Kids Play.” The intended outcome is to make participation in RCAA member youth sports leagues accessible to all Rancho Cordova families, especially those encountering financial barriers. Fee Assistance is available through each league until funds are exhausted.
Who Is Eligible
Fee Assistance is available to eligible players age 4 through 17.
The fund will pay 75% of program registration fees up to $300 per qualified player.
- Applicants must be a resident of the City of Rancho Cordova and show proof of residency or valid driver’s license or California State issued identification card.
- Funding is available for 75% of program fees. Additional funds may be requested in extreme circumstances.
- Fee assistance must be requested at the time of registration.
- Fee support it available to multiple children within the same family. Please fill out a separate application for each child.
- Applicants must re-apply each season to receive assistance.
- If there is a credit on your league account, the credit will be applied first, then the assisted amount.
- The RCAA will make every effort to ensure confidentiality amongst applicants.
- Information provided by applicants will only be provided to League fee assistance administrator as required and shall only be used to determine eligibility for fee assistance.
- Approved participants will not be separately identified nor be treated any differently than any other member who has paid full price.
- Participants shall not be discriminated against because of race, sex, color, national origin, age, sexual orientation or disability.
- In the event of a league season cancelation, only the amount paid by the participant will be refunded. League registration refund cancelation policies and apply.
- Submittal of an application does not guarantee fee assistance.
Application and Registration Process
Persons seeking fee assistance should complete the application and submit for review and processing at the time of league registration. All supporting documentation for approval must accompany the application. If you have questions or need assistance completing the application, please contact the league. Applications will be reviewed and processed within 5-10 business days.
You must submit the following documentation at the time of submittal:
- RCAA Financial Assistance Application
- Proof of residency (utility bill or valid driver’s license or California State issued identification card)
- Approved income verification documents (see below)
- League registration form
Once approved, program participants will be registered and any remaining balance will be collected. All funds must be paid according to league policies. All incomplete applications will be denied funding.
Acceptable Forms of Income Documentation (Submit one)
- Verification of free or reduced school lunch program participation (ask your school for help!)
- PGE bill indicating enrollment in the Care Credit program
- Phone bill indicating enrollment in the Life Line program
- CalFresh/EBT statement
- Other governmental issued aid statement (i.e. Medicaid, or other)
- Documentation of foster child status
